Alex's DBZ RPG 5 // Creating Customs Tutorial

The first step of creating a custom character is checking the untaken characters page to see if any custom slots are free. If it says there are some open then you are in luck, you can create a custom character. Creating a custom character is no easy task, however. You will need to do much more work on your join form than a normal character and not only you, but your character must also be approved by an admin before you can join.

First, you need to name your character. This name needs to be something acceptable in this RPG. Once you do that, you also need to find a picture. These pictures might be difficult to find, because it must be an anime picture and also cannot be someone who is widely recognized. For example, Vash The Stampede or Kenshin would not be allowed. Remember, you are joining a Dragonball Z RPG so chose your picture appropriately or it will not be approved.

The next thing you will need on your join form that is different from others is a character history and description. This history/description must be at least 300 words and should detail out your characters past, his attitude, family, etc. By reading this history, we should be able to know as much about your character as we might know about someone in the series. The character history/description does not replace your sample roleplay. The history/description should be posted in a reply to your initial join form to make it easy to read.

Your sample roleplay and way of filling out the join form will also be more strictly judged when creating a custom character. This is to reserve those limited custom slots for those who will make good use of them and have a long, successful stay on the RPG.
