Alex's DBZ RPG 5 // Compendium // The Lost

The Lost's civilization died off one hundred thousand years ago, yet they left pieces of their once mighty civilization across the stars. Modern technologies and societies are still playing catch up to what they did. So who were they exactly? What did they look like? How did they act?

Much research into The Lost's bloodline has been done. There is great evidence that traits of The Lost can be found in every sentient being. The Lost had extreme knowledge in biological cloning and genetic enhancement. Some sources say that the humans of Earth, the avalanians, the saiyans, keliouxians, and kekko are all directly related because of The Lost. Cross breeding between these races is possible. It is safe to say that The Lost, looked very similar to those beings. Perhaps each of the great races are just misfits from their experiments though; just mutants that took over after their majestic empire fell.

They were a peaceful society compared to how sentient beings act today. They were unified in their goals and worked together for great progress. It is not known whether or not for them to reach their grand state, that they had to fight their way. By our knowledge we know that they had high power levels. They left behind data of their training methods and skills which have been interpreted into many modern martial combat styles.

Where did they go?

It is hard to say. Records indicate that all at once The Lost went extinct. It could of been because of disease, famine, or perhaps another threat? No one will ever know. But what we can learn from what they left behind is far greater and propels their legacy forward. For the universe to ever see a period of peace, so great like The Lost once brought, every sentient being will have to learn to work together like they once did. But that is a far fetched fantasy.
