Halloween Contest Rules
This year we are holding a special "scariest roleplay" Halloween contest. To participate all you need to do is write a scary Halloween-themed roleplay. This roleplay should be at least 3,000 words long and no longer than 5,000 give or take a few hundred words either way. You may do this roleplay even if you are in another thread at the same time and you can have up to one other person in the thread with you (but only one person involved will get a prize item). One other rule; there needs to be a pumpkin somehow involved at some point in the thread. Remember, this is not a short story contest but a roleplay contest. That means use your character and set it in the world of Dragonball Z. The items listed below will be the prizes for the first, second, and third place winners. If you are a winner, you may pick one item from your specific prize tier. Everybody who participates also gets the special item Halloween Candy and 2 roleplay credits per 300 words.
Once you have posted the roleplay on the forums, be sure to post a link to it on the official Halloween contest thread. The deadline for completion is 3:00 am eastern standard time on November 1st.

Halloween Contest Prize Items:
1st Place Items:
- Death's Scythe - Equipped as an accessory. Lv.4 two-handed axe. Increases strength by +850 + 6% base in combat. Attacks with this weapon deal +5% damage. Attacks with axes still do 25% damage when blocked. Twice per battle you may make an attack that ignores your opponent's armor completely. If you use this weapon to kill an opponent you gain +250 all stats (+1,000 ki and +2,000 pl.)
- Phantom Hourglass - When this item is activated a countdown beings. All opponents lose 5% ki and vitality each turn (to a maximum of 15% ki and vitality.) After 3 turns the sands run out and a dark portal to the astral realm opens up. From this portal thousands of angry spirits emerge and fly into your opponents, attacking clawing at their very souls. This has a damage rating of 7.
- Mask of One Thousand Horrors - Equipped as an accessory. A mask that has been enchanted to display a hideous face that will terrify any victim. It is said that no person has seen the same face as another. Increases speed and stamina by +500 + 3% base speed and stamina in battle. Makes user immune to Telepathy and Telekinesis. Nightmare only does half damage. May be once per battle to imbue an advanced or finisher ki attack with Critical Effect: Immobilize.
- Bloody Machete - Equipped as an accessory. Level 3 one-handed blade. This legendary machete was used by a serial killer and is forever stained with the blood of his victims. This sword will increase strength by +250 + 6% of base in battle. Attacks with this weapon deal +4% damage. Adds Critical Effect: Slice added to all sword techs Lv.3 and higher.
- Ganr's Flask - Filled with holy water be used against Demons and Chaotic Evil enemies. May only be used by someone with a neutral or good alignment. The water deals damage level 4 and stuns them for 2 actions. May only be used once per battle. Must spend one week enchanting water before use (takes up a build slot.)
- Grim Reaper's Cloak - Can be equipped to any training equipment on the body (max of two things.) Increases strength and speed by +150 + 5% of your current speed and strength in battle.
- Witches Hat (Female) / Warlock's Hood (Male) - Worn as an accessory. Increases stamina amd vitality by +250 + 5% of your current stamina and vitality in battle. Allows you to use Ice Blast or Flame Shield once per battle without any ki cost.
Halloween Candy - Usable item that grants +125 all stats (+500 ki, +1,000 pl.)
